At Cloudman, we are happy to announce that through the GEST-CLOUD project, we are the recipients of one of the grants from the line of ICT development projects for SMEs, from the Call for Funding from the Castile and León Agencia de Innovación, Financiación e Internacionalización Empresarial[1] (currently the Castile and León Instituto para la Competitividad Empresarial[2]), whose objective is to facilitate the financing of experimental development projects aimed at the development of new products or new functionalities of existing products created by SMEs belonging to the ICT sector in Castile and León.
For some time at Cloudman, we have been working on a cloud-based app specially designed to help SMEs and freelancers to make, send and manage their budgets online through just one tool, but we have so far encountered some functional limitations. Therefore, in order to turn the current app into a new and competitive tool on the market, we propose the GEST-CLOUD project, whose overall objective is the development of an innovative app, unlike anything presently on the market, for online business management systems, through the development and integration of two new features: an Advanced Text Processor, and a communication system based on reliable protocols which allows the integration of the app with some of the most currently used invoicing software.
The GEST-CLOUD project has been co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the Instituto para la Competitividad Empresarial[2] (ICE), which will allow Cloudman to play an active part in the digital transformation of society, contributing to changing the way companies interact in a digital world, being part of the evolution towards Industry 4.0 and the Internet of the future, and becoming a reference on a national level in the creation of cloud-based software.
